Learn from this district about:

Hope Squad is a school-based, peer-to-peer, suicide prevention program that deploys trained students to do intentional outreach with distressed peers.

The Health Clinic: ODE recognizes the value of and promotes the development of SBHC’s (School-Based Health Clinics) as an effective way to serve the physical and mental health needs of all students by bringing care to their place of schooling.

Restorative Practices: Research shows that students’ self-reported experience with restorative practices significantly predicted improved school climate and connectedness, peer attachment, and social skills, and reduced cyberbullying victimization. Research also shows that teachers see that Restorative Practices brings a reduction in overall suspension rates and a reduction in the disparities in suspension rates between African American and white students and between low- and higher-income students.
