Exploring the Role of AI in Mathematics

AI and humans graphicOur report, “AI-Powered Innovations in Mathematics Teaching & Learning: Initial Findings,” highlights initial findings from an analysis of nearly 200 responses to a Request for Information (RFI) conducted by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Digital Promise. The RFI explored innovative approaches to using artificial intelligence (AI) in mathematics teaching and learning. The analysis centered on three key questions:

  • What does AI in education look like today?
  • What risks are associated with leveraging AI in education, and how can those risks be mitigated?
  • What should AI’s role be in education?

This report aims to guide education leaders in making informed decisions about AI and help providers better understand market trends and strategies to address potential challenges. For more information, read our blog post.
