Dana MacDonald is a 5th grade teacher at St. Mary-St. Cecilia Catholic School in Morrisburg, Ontario.
As a teacher of 6 years who specializes in the arts, Dana has taken on an enormous amount of new learning because she has seen the difference STEM can make in the lives of her students. She has a willingness to try out new technologies or approaches and feels it is important to model the opportunities to learn and fail with her class or colleagues; she knows they can work through the difficulties together. Her learning journey is on-going and she wants to dare mighty things with her colleagues and peers in the HP Teaching Fellows program.
