“I learn best through sharing experiences with the community around me, and technology has enabled me to sustain and expand the number and types of people I can do that with.”
Christine is the Senior Project Manager on the Learner Variability Project at Digital Promise. She began her commitment to educational equity as an elementary school teacher in charter and public dual immersion schools within Los Angeles Unified School District. As an educator, she firmly believed in placing students at the center of teaching and learning.
She has since transitioned to work outside of the classroom, seeking to utilize her practitioner experience to inform larger, systemic change for more students across the education system. This has led her to Jobs for the Future in Oakland and Partners in School Innovation in San Francisco, where she leveraged her policy, research, and program management skills to support building more equitable schools and workforce ecosystems. Christine received her B.A. in Psychology and Education, multiple subject teaching credential and M. Ed from the University of California, Los Angeles and M.Ed Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She can be reached at email@example.com.
