Dr. Stanley Harris serves as the director of professional learning in the west region with Verizon Innovative Learning Schools. He has more than 20 years of combined experience in business, technology, and education with learning the alignment of technology implementations with organizational initiatives. He has career experiences as a researcher, entrepreneur, management consultant, project manager, middle school special education teacher covering all subjects, and assistant lecturer in a graduate teacher preparation program. Stanley’s doctoral research examined the professional learning practices involved in innovative technology implementation during COVID-19.
Stanley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing from Morehouse College, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Information Systems from the University of Maryland, College Park, a Master of Education from Hunter College, and a Doctorate in Education in educational leadership from UCLA. Stanley is passionate about using innovative technology to enhance learning and empower individuals to produce a systemic change in the education sector.
