Jenny joined Digital Promise’s Collaborative Action Network team in April 2020. She serves as R&D Project Director and is currently working on projects focused on improving math outcomes for Black and Brown students and helping districts build their capacity for data interoperability. She is also working with the team designing an Inclusive Innovation model that centers and amplifies traditionally underrepresented perspectives and experiences. Jenny has spent roughly 15 years working in curriculum design and educational technology development and implementation. She served as Strategy Director and Vice President of Programs at NFTE, the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, where she oversaw significant revisions to the program model including a transition to blended learning. Prior to that, she served in Director roles at Discovery Education, overseeing the development and alignment of curriculum resources for district and corporate partners. Jenny got her start in educational technology at PBS Education, where she helped to develop the PBS LearningMedia platform. She began her career as a high school English and Humanities teacher at public, private, and charter schools.
