“The best way I learn, outside of observation and talking with others to gain their perspectives, is to jump right in and get my hands dirty! Personalized learning is ever-evolving; therefore, we must be willing to do the same!”
Nipa comes to Digital Promise with more than 15 years of experience in the education and professional learning fields. Prior to Digital Promise, Nipa was an education consultant for edtech companies, ensuring quality implementation of programs, building strong professional relationships, and improving customers’ optimal learning outcomes. She also brings classroom and leadership experience, having served as a teacher, team lead, instructional coach, and instructional technology specialist for the largest school district in Texas. Nipa closely supported K-12 schools and built strong partnerships through multiple district-wide initiatives, including piloting project-based learning in K-8, a 1:1 Chromebook initiative, and increased usage of digital literacy programs throughout grades K-8. Leading multiple programs, she has directed effective professional developments; presented various innovative trainings locally, regionally, and nationally; and co-created courses for students to receive micro-credentials. After being part of the original Parent University program, where parents receive lessons on core content so they could reinforce their child’s learning at home, Nipa is a strong believer in and a passionate advocate for empowering the community as a whole: parents, students and educators for all to grow and succeed. Nipa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts from Wayne State University. You can reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
