“I learn best through collaboration and repetition. There is power in teamwork and learning from other people’s experiences. And if I’ve learned anything as a mathematician, it’s that repetition can equal mastery if you practice intentionally.”

Taylor Alexander, Ph.D., joins Digital Promise as a quantitative researcher after completing her doctorate in measurement, quantitative methods, and learning sciences from the University of Houston. While pursuing her graduate studies, Taylor conducted and managed several research projects on disparities in STEM education, specifically among marginalized and female-identifying populations. She is also a former Division I volleyball player, and holds firm to her Mathematic and Meyerhoff Scholar background which she established at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Taylor looks forward to elevating the Learning Sciences Research team’s work on equity in postsecondary digital learning.
