Providing a comprehensive personalized learning option for middle school students: The Dysart Innovation Academy is an option for students in grades 6-8 to learn within a curricular system that addresses distinct learning needs, interests, and aspirations using digital learning tools and project-based instructional approaches.

Fostering partnerships to give students the opportunity to solve real-world problems: High school students in Dysart collaborate with local community groups to address real-world challenges, including historical building renovation and app development for the City of Glendale.

Introducing the maker mindset across the district: A team of educators representing 21st century
specialists, teachers, administrators and support staff collaborated to become learners and leaders in the implementation of makerspaces across the district. This effort is part of a total transformation in the district focused on personalizing learning environments for all students.
