Building a task force for digital conversion: The district’s digital leadership team is the “creative think tank” of East Irondequoit, made up of more than 40 passionate teachers and administrators who discuss digital resources, vet apps and digital subscriptions, craft high-quality professional development for the faculty, and share best practices.
Engaging family members in student education: The district provides a platform, Schoology, for parents and guardians to see their student’s progress and achievements.
Building digital citizenship: The district provides resources and events to teach students, families, and community members about the importance of digital citizenship.
