“School of Fish (SoF)” – Digital Literacy through Computational Thinking

World’s 1st Proprietary Digital Literacy Curriculum focused on Computational Thinking skills for K-5. Developed & used by children in Singapore; winning multiple accolades including 2019 IMS Global Learning Impact Award & Runner-Up at BETT GESA 2019 Awards. SoF is an APP for both schools/teachers and parents to teach children both in class/online through videos/games/activities. Pending approval as signatory of Student Privacy Pledge.

1:1 Cloud

1:1 Cloud offers filtering, MDM, classroom-management, and parental-controls for take-home 1:1 devices (Chromebooks, iPads, Windows and Macs). It requires teacher facilitation while students are using it. It can be assigned by a teacher and used independently by a student.
Students can use single sign-on (such as OneRoster).

ABC Mouse Early Learning Academy offers learning games and interactive activities for ages 2-8 which include animations, games, books, songs, puzzles, art and printables.

Actively Learn

Actively Learn is a digital curriculum platform for middle school and high school ELA, science, and social studies. It requires teacher facilitation while students are using it. It can be assigned by a teacher and used independently by a student. Students must have a desktop or laptop computer/mobile device, and internet access – low bandwidth (e.g. for email, web searching, word processing).

ADVANCEfeedback® video coaching tool by Insight ADVANCE powered by the Vonage Video API

To help strengthen support to teachers, coaches, and school leaders in this time of need, Insight ADVANCE is providing its ADVANCEfeedback® video coaching tool, powered by the Vonage Video API, free of charge. ADVANCEfeedback helps teachers, instructional coaches, and school and university leaders use video for self-reflection, peer feedback, and coaching.

Adventure Academy

Adventure Academy provides elementary and middle school age learners the chance to immerse themselves in thousands of engaging learning activities in a fun and safe multiplayer virtual world. Through hundreds of hours of gameplay, learners build critical knowledge of essential curriculum topics like language arts, math, social studies, science, and more.

AFT’s Culminating Capstone Projects

AFT’s Culminating Capstone Projects are a way for students to demonstrate what they have learned in innovative, meaningful ways. A cadre of preK-12 AFT teachers from across the nation designed a set of standards-based and developmentally appropriate projects that will enable students to demonstrate learning in a variety of ways such as writing a story or song, scrapbooking and counting objects in the home. These capstone projects can be used to wrap up the school year, to complete a voluntary summer learning program, or even serve as a re-entry into the next school year. Teachers can adapt and modify the projects, tailoring them for their classrooms. All of the necessary resources are provided (e.g., hyperlinks, activity sheets, question prompts, etc.).

Albert

Albert is an online question bank of over 100,000+ original practice questions for grades 5-12. Coverage of Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies, AP, SAT, and ACT. It can be assigned by a teacher and used independently by a student. Students can use the tool independently. Students need an email address. Students can use single sign-on (such as OneRoster). Students must have a desktop or laptop computer and internet access – low bandwidth (e.g. for email, web searching, word processing)

Albert Einstein Expert Avatar

This computer prototype web application allows users to ask spoken or text questions of the Avatar. Users can ask about Einstein’s life, work and opinions, and his Avatar will respond verbally based on a library of anticipate questions and curated responses. The technology is being developed to allow users to create their own Expert Avatars with automated suggestions for questions and answers.
