The future of public education rests with school districts as centers of bold, innovative ideas informed by research, leading the way to meet today’s challenges and shape what comes next.
Hosted from Dec. 1-2, 2025, the League of Innovative Schools Policy to Action Summit was a one-and-a-half-day gathering designed to equip League superintendents with the tools, knowledge, and network to turn local insights into federal policy influence.
Through hands-on learning, peer collaboration, and education policy conversations with congressional representatives on Capitol Hill, participants explored how national policies might better support what’s working in classrooms and how strategic federal investment in localized education research and development (R&D) can scale those successes.
