2025-2026 HP AI Learning Studio

About

Digital Promise with the support of HP, Microsoft, and Intel, is seeking an HP AI Spotlight School to host an HP AI Learning Studio. The selected school will receive cutting edge technology to support and empower users to explore and learn about artificial intelligence in a structured and collaborative setting. 

The ideal school for this partnership would: 

• Use HP, MSFT, or Intel technology (explicitly, we need a non-Apple District)
• Be located within an hour of a major east coast airport (DC, Baltimore preferred)
• Serve historically and systematically excluded learners
• Demonstrate willingness to support its educators in professional learning around the accessible and ethical use of AI its application in teaching practice

Commitment would begin in Winter ‘25 and last through 2026.

The selected school will have access to:

• Powerful technology that meets the needs of educator-leaders and students  
• Customized, contextualized Professional Learning experience for educators 
• Demonstrate thought leadership and engagement in AI and other emerging technology 
• Contribute to Digital Promise White paper and reflection

Application Criteria

The selected school will agree to:

• Accept delivery of equipment potentially including, but not limited to: high-powered HP workstations; broadcast studio and recording equipment including prosumer podcasting microphones, cameras, mixers, and headphones; and scholastic esports peripherals
• Host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and launch event for the new Learning Studio in year 1 of the partnership
• Support identification of school personnel who will contribute to the national community of HP AI Educator Leaders who will participate in professional development, speaking engagements, and otherwise contribute to the implementation of AI in education
• Contribute to the development of a white paper published by Digital Promise
• Host a community event in the second year of the partnership
• Contribute to the addendum of the white paper published by Digital Promise
