Do you have an innovative approach to transforming mathematics learning and instruction using AI-powered technologies?

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Digital Promise are seeking your ideas! They are issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to learn about innovative approaches that leverage AI-powered technology to transform math teaching and learning.

Examples of types of projects the Foundation is interested in:

• District-wide opportunities for teacher professional learning or student math learning with existing AI tools and/or partnerships with edtech/AI providers.
• District-led projects to develop in-house AI tools to support professional learning or student math learning.
• Feasibility studies to determine how multiple AI tool options align with and/or enhance existing math curriculum.

Please note that submissions that range from early-stage project concepts to more mature approaches are welcome.

• Help shape the future of math education: Your ideas could be used to develop new tools and programs that benefit millions of students.
• Gain funding: The Gates Foundation may fund promising projects based on the responses to this RFI.
