About

Digital Promise is building the Digital Equity Framework Guide, an interactive guide to help schools achieve this goal. This will include companion toolkits and case studies to support districts as they work to achieve Digital Equity. We're seeking 10 passionate education leaders and technology experts to support this work by engaging in sense-making around the digital equity domain sub-skills and look-fors, essential questions, and case studies. Over the course of ten months, working group members will share their experiences implementing Digital Equity in creative and innovative ways in their districts, examples of inclusive innovation, and how the community identifies and scales solutions across research, practice, and technology that create more equitable education systems.

As a working group member, you'll have the chance to:

  1. Collaborate with national experts and fellow education leaders: Share your expertise, learn from others, and shape the future of digital equity.
  2. Contribute to a groundbreaking resource: Your insights will help develop the Guide, which will support countless districts on their digital equity journey.
  3. Gain valuable professional development: Deepen your understanding of digital equity and gain practical knowledge and skills you can bring back to your district to advance digital equity.
  4. Become a sought-after thought leader: Have opportunities to share your insights through presentations, webinars, and blog posts, inspiring colleagues across the League of Innovative Schools and VILS networks and beyond.

Digital Promise will provide honoraria of $1,000 to members for their full participation in the working group and for collaborating on a case study of their district that illuminates aspects of the Digital Equity Domains in action.

This working group will run from May 2024 - December 2024.
